No one should ever put bacon on green beans, very unhealthy. bacon w/ grease is much better.

Not enough choices. I also cook a can of beans in a quart of canned tomatoes. To step it up I add diced fried potatoes too. It can be served as a side but I'm too lazy to make a full meal and eat it as is.

I keep a jar in my fridge. It's used for beans, eggs, hash browns.....

I think that's about all I really use it for.
