Y'all. I love peanut butter pie. It could be my favorite pie... at the very least my favorite non-fruit pie. It's like the filling of a Reese's cup, but smoother and creamier and fluffier, like a heavy peanut-butter-flavored mousse, the perfect consistency to never dry your mouth out as peanut butter often does. Okay, sure, fine, those who don't like peanut butter won't like it, but I do like peanut butter and peanut butter pie is amazing! My sister makes her own pie crust when she makes it and it's extra good. I can't even stand store-bought pie crust anymore because of her! Just the right buttery, melt-in-your-mouth texture that's never soggy or rubbery or too hard, loaded with peanut-buttery goodness and sometimes even a chocolate topping...
