There was someone at a university in (iirc) England who did a load of research on crow/corvid behaviour, including things like their ability to recognise faces and share that knowledge with others. One study involved (again iirc) wearing some kind of mask and scaring the crows, then seeing how they reacted to other students wearing the same mask.

I just love imagining how that must've looked to the other students who were there studying completely unrelated subjects :gig

Yes, this video shows a clip from the mask experiment. What’s even crazier is that 10 years later, next generations were still attacking the same mask!

Sorry! I didn't watch much of it because my internet is really slow.

I wonder if this poor guy in India is still getting attacked.

i wish they could figure out how the crows communicate that to the next generations without them having seen the mask.
