They were really hoping he'd drop a soggy chunk! 😁

:love Beautiful daffodils! :love
sometimes they do! 😂

thanks about the daffodils! i was just saying to the husband yesterday... look how many there are! there were 2 smallish clumps of them in the middle of the grass out front when we bought the house (8 years ago). i thought it was odd to put them in the grass because you can't cut the grass around them. i broke them up and planted them in various places and they have all spread a LOT!

We used to buy daffodils every spring in a pot (home decoration). Mainly the early ones. The are called Trumpets here.
We kept the bulbs and planted them in our garden in autumn. Now we have so many outdoors, we don’t feel the need to buy more of them.
We never planted them in the middle of the grass. :gig

I do need to buy tulips every now and them. Tulips always disappear after several years.

More spring news: I had a broody who gave up after pestering for 2 days and have another broody who didn’t get the message yet.

are the early trumpets the tiny ones? i have those too. they spread a lot too! i love tulips but i don't buy them because they always go missing.

this is my second spring with chickens, and i am thinking spring just means trying to keep them from being broody. lol! good luck! it's some job! 😂
