Polo, Missouri

Hello we are renting a beautiful place in west central missouri...we have a pole barn and large hut and a coop. The landlady isn't too awfully nice.at all....and the point is "renting". I'm older 61 with heart probs and diabeties so this is my last chance to get my chickens, which I have wanted sooo badly. The question is we have a chance to buy a place in Polo missouri and I need to know if chickens are allowed there...would anyone know. Please if anyone knows let me know. This place is beautiful and the place in Polo needs lots of work and not near as much land...maybe half acre which now we are "renting" two acres...please help..

Do you really need a larger place to have your chickens? I can see you want to get away from a not nice landlord but, with health issues you might enjoy having a smaller flock.

I do plan on having a smaller flock...maybe 10 or 15...still might be smaller...like 5 or 6....I'll learn as I go...Thank you
