Poly Foam

I've enjoyed this site for some time now. I am making a cover for my well and lining it with 2" poly foam board. You know the kind you get in packages that sends those x
Static charges balls all over the room. Well I guess my chickens decided to help with the project but startes to eat those little foam balls. I haven't seen any problems yet but I am being cautious. I wanted to pass this along to othes that may find themselves in a similar situation.

My birds have eaten lots of Styrofoam over the years. It's like crack for them! I was horrified at first, but they suffered no ill effects. Don't unpack a new washing machine in the driveway with free range chickens--they'll eat that stuff right up!
