Poly Vi Sol Question

All I seem to be able to find is Poly Vi Sol with Iron.
Is there a given reason why this should not be given to ailing poultry?
We'll have a hatch of Geese and Turkey starting in about 3 days and if I run into problems again like the last hatch I'd like to have something on hand to help.

I just got some for my ailing birdie and all *I* could find was with iron also...I got it in the kids' remedies aisle at CVS. It's not with vitamins or baby stuff. The places where logic tells you it should be...

Our CVS didn't even carry it. I ask the Pharmacist about it and she said "I guess we should though" Uhhhh Ya......
I did see it at Walgreen's though and our local grocery store has it too. I'm only concerned about the Iron in it. At $9.00 a bottle I didn't want to buy it and not be able to use it. We don't have children.

really you can use it on chicks? my dd has anorexia nervosa and takes it everyday.
