I’ve been having so much fun playing with clay!
My current work in progress is a tree.
The foundation

The tinfoil rock covered in clay

I needed a break from the tree so I made a couple animals to hang out in it.

and a guinea of course!

The branches need a lot of work still, but it’s coming along

I haven’t played with clay since I was a kid. We got our kids clay for Christmas. Since they seemed to like it my husband bought a box with a bunch of colors and a box full of tools. I started making stuff with them and now it’s one of my favorite school hours pass time. Haha.

What started as what was going to be a ring holder for my vanity is quickly becoming a collection of everything I love on our farm.
I made three more guineas, so in addition to the pearl guinea already in the tree it will have a lavender, royal purple, and white.

My husband and kids both agreed my tree needs a turkey. My beloved royal palm, Beep-Beep.

I think he still needs wings. So he isn’t finished yet.

Naw, my coons leave my guineas alone.

Since my coops are repurposed grain bins set on concrete foundations coons can’t get to them at night. I’ve only had one possible case of them raiding a nest overnight.
