Pomegranate?

Can my chickens eat pomegranate? I have one that I forgot about and it is kind of wilty, if you will, but it isn't moldy or anything. Has anyone else given pomegranate to their chickens?

From what i've read, you can feed the whole fruit to chickens.. Seeds and all, i haven't read very much on them though so i don't know what is bad/good about them i just know people have fed it with no problems.

I have been feeding my chickens these for as long as i can remember, they love them.
