Most geese are herbivores, so they won't eat the fish. Depending on the size of the pond and the amount of geese and fish, you could keep fish in a large goose pond. But both will poop in the water. If it gets too contaminated, the fish will die, and the geese may get sick from the rotting fish in the water. So a traditional smalll garden pond with goldfish and geese will not work for long.

My pond is about 7x7 feet and 2 feet deep. It has a pump and a filter and it works for one goose. The water quality is fine - salamanders are breeding in it. If I had more geese, I'd need a larger pond.

Could you send a picture? I live on a mountain but a little down the hill there is a terrace where there is a natural pond, with one side open though so I would Have to build a small concrete dam. It is about 5x5 and two feet deep....
