I am thinking about getting a stock tank for my 5 girls. Does anyone have experience with how often to change the water? How to deal with Mosquitoes? Should I get something to keep the water moving? Looking for advice. Thanks!!

The water should be changed at least weekly, but sometimes we change it every other day, because it's pretty easy to clean. I just use a deflated inflatable kiddie pool.
Mosquitoes should not be a problem if you change the water and the ducks use it often enough. Algae may be a problem.

I use a variety of tanks and pools with mine and how often I clean them depends on how dirty they get. Some get cleaned daily, others once a week.

Thanks!! They are so much happier when they can swim. I found something online called Stock Tank Secret that claims to help with algae....might try it.

Do you have a particular tank you like better? Don't know whether to get the black plastic ones or the steel ones.

I like these because they are durable and easy to dump.
