Pond in aviary?

You want to put a pond inside your house?
I'd like to see the set up...this would be neat, without the quail.

Oh, absolutely! I've done it before, years ago. The sound of the bubbling water is so soothing.

I agree...I love water sounds.

I'm going to make the pond, here me out. I will keep it outside, but up against, the aviary so they can stick their heads out of the wire to drink out of it, similar to the waterers that work that way.

It'll give them something to see and hear and use and be an added enrichment to their little environment. I'm going to add a few quail safe plants outside of the aviary too, close enough where they can pick at it a bit, but not kill it.

Suggestions on plants where part of it can stick inside of the wires? Something that splays out like a spider plant, but I'm not sure if that's safe or not.
