We have a new (voluntary) addition to our flock of 17 (chickens and turkeys), now 18. A juvenile green heron. We have a small pond we are stocking with feeder fish and would like to put aquatic grass or some kind of plant that is safe for all the birds. Agriculture Zone 9. Any ideas? Thanks! (This is not the pond ;) )

Well, lets see the pond!
Did you dig the pond yourself or....???
How big is the pond?

Welcome to BYC! @The Lakes
Where in this world are you located?
Climate, and time of year, is almost always a factor.
