Poo everywhere!

Hi, I have 7 RIR that are free range during the day. Every day when I get home from work my front porch is covered in giant chicken turds! It's disgusting and smelly. Is there anything I can put on my porch or spray to keep them off of there? Any essential oils that they hate the smell of? I'm desperate! TIA!

Unfortunately, you will need to "fence out" your birds from anywhere you do not wish for them to go - whether you use actual fencing or another barrier (ie lattice, etc) is a matter of what is appealing to you

All I can think of doing is screening off your porch but that isn't really an easy fix. Hope others have some other ideas for you.
