"poofy" chick help!!!

I found a week chick, 5 day old. POOFY! Feels like air filled. I can hear a noise when I push. Weak. Any chance this is an impacted crop? What could it be? Help please, chick in my hand now!

Not really sure but it is a possibility. Research it if you have time. Just put in the google search "impacted crop symptoms". I hope someone can help you with this.

sounds to me like omphalitis ... it will not "spread" so you dont have to worry bout your other birds...here is some info on it (sorry you lost her):
