I have 2 Africans and they love to play in the plastic kiddie pool. I have to empty it every day. My water bill is killer high (I'm in city water). If I don't empty it every night it gets almost pitch black and smelly.

Is there a filtration and a pump i could use to keep from emptying it. I could put in a small plastic pond. What about fish, would they help clean it? It seems like as soon as either one of geese enter the pool they relieve themselves.

Any ideas?

Fish would just make it dirtier. How big is this pool? Is it a regular kiddie pool size (shallow)? If so there is not much you can do. You could try giving them the pool every other day instead of every day.

Look up diy pond filters. I made one for my 300 gallon stock tank that the geese use and with the filter I only clean it every other week. I think I spent $150 total on the project including the pump.
