Poop boards

I have been putting off building poop boards for way too long and this was one of my concerns—how to keep them from roosting on the board. Also my roosting bars are one foot apart and parallel and one is higher than the other so I didn’t set myself up too well for the poop boards.

I may just reconfigure the whole thing

When I close up the coop each night, I take anyone that is roosting on the PB and move her to a roost. Usually it's a newbie and after a few nightly moves, she no longer tries to roost on the PB. I have two that roost on the edge, rest are on the actual roost.

Thanks everyone!! 24" it is!! Bitties will be here next week...hopefully in 6 weeks they will be ready to try their new roosts.
