My chicken has poop on her bottom is she ok

How old is the chicken and have you ever de wormed your chickens...poop on their backside could be an indication of a worm infestation...you should clean her backside and can trim feathers...also apply a little vaseline to help her in that area;;;you do not want her to suffer from fly strike...

She was a baby chick in the spring and so I'm new to this and didn't know anything about dewormingif I get her wet won't that make her get sick in the cold weather

You can clean her backside using kitchen towel or cotton pads..you do not need to soak her...it is difficult in the colder months...but do consider giving her a de wormer.....
