poop eating chickies

well, as the subject says, our chicks are eating there poop outside.

we just let them outside today at 4 weeks old during the day, and now they are eating there poo.

is this a problem?

is there some health problem that can occur if this keeps up?

My latest batch of chicks are doing this with no ill effects - just close your eyes and pretend it's not happening - how are you going to stop them anyhow? Less to clean up!

Haha, don't worry about it, eventually they'll learn there are better things to eat in the world! Like the garden...

well we threw in some tomato dices and melon, but they wont eat it unless it is in there food dish! how do u stop them from being so picky eaters?
