Well I got their poop hammock made and actually almost made 2 of them. All I lack with the second one are the sides that I decided I might need on there. Actually I think right now it's ok but when I start to take it down will be the problem. Some of the poop might fall out the ends. Anyway this is HOW I finally figured out to hang it and IF one falls OR gets knocked off the roost it will be able to get out. The poop
should fall to the bottom if it's in a hunk or that's what I'm hoping anyway. Figured I would post some pix since someone wanted to know what I figured out on how to make mine since my roost is like this. It sags just a little toward the bottom of the hammock so I'm hoping the poop will pile up there. Will be much easier gotten out and I might not even have to take it down. I didn't have the eye bolts I needed so I just drilled holes in my PVC 3/4" and ran some nylon string through it. Was afraid they'd want to roost ON the PVC pipe which is ran through the top and bottom. One did try it this evening and it was swinging so it decided it didn't like the swinging so it jumped where it's suppose to be thank goodness.

Close up so you can see that it does have a little sag in it toward the bottom. Like I said I just drilled a hole in each end of my PVC pipe to run my thick nylon thread through and then I had some nails in the 2 bys so I tied it to them on each side at the top. Then on the bottom I used a big staple and nailed it into the pole you see on the left, I have one on the right side as well and tied the strings to those instead of the roost itself.
I always scoop the poop out of the pens floor since I have sand in there. I also sprinkle some sand on the roost boards so that's what is all in the hammock since I was nailing it fell off into the hammock. I usually sift the sand on it to keep the poop from sticking to the boards.

Then here are SOME of them free ranging this evening.
