Where do people put their poop liners and Trays is it underneath the roost?

I just put shavings on the floor and scrape them out to replace them.

I went to a restaurant supply store and got some cheap BBQ tongs that are like 16 inches long. They let me get in there and grab the poop without having to get so far into the henhouse myself and get it out. Being able to pick it that way, you are not dragging so much otherwise clean straw / pine shavings etc out with it too.
