It's my first time hatching Coturnix and I gotta say, the intake to output ratio on these cute little buggers is bananas! HOW do they make so many poops? They're so tiny! There's no way their eating even half what they're pooping. Mind boggling...

I have 8 in one of my wire bottom pens and there are times that it looks like its snowing underneath.

I took one out to band it, I carried it inside and across the house, it pooped 4 times! Wait til they lay in a pile and just poop on each other even though most of the space is empty and they could poop anywhere else lol.

Now it all makes sense! I was wondering why one of my chicks had poop on his head! Weirdos... I love them
