Thank youI compost as well. If you don't garden and don't want it, ask around and offer it to any neighbors or friends who might be gardeners, they might be happy to take it all off your hands.

Those that compost, what do do you use.as base bedding? If sawdust do you add lime or any treatment to balance the pH? How often do you clean your coops?
I use hemp under the roost. Breaks down much more readily than wood chips (which is the rest of the coop & run) and sifts out a lot better too, so I can stretch its usage.Those that compost, what do do you use.as base bedding?
