I've recently noticed my SLW hen has dried poop stuck on her fluffy bottom feathers. Is this something I should worry about? And what can I do about it? She can poop and lay perfectly fine, I'm just concerned it might turn into something worse. Any help is appreciated.

Yes this can become a problem if it builds up enough to a point where nothing can get through. Take that bird wash it with soapy water and gently rub it until it comes off. Happens to my silkie all the time.

I have seen this happen....most the time they will preen it off themselves within a few days.

But(t) haha might be a good idea to examine her and see how bad it is.
It might just be on the outer feathers, but if it's caked on down to the skin it might be time for a bath. If it's just a dried clump sometimes you can just crunch it with your fingers to get most of it off instead of having to wet the bird enough to dissolve it and sh'ell preen the rest off.
