Pooping small rocks - Contains necropsy photos (GRAPHIC)

Here is a video before she passed the big obstruction about a month ago. I brought her in the house and she was not eating or really drinking for 3 days until it passed. Now again same thing and I was worried if she didn't pass anything today she wouldnt make it............and she did the small rock type poop.

I will have to try again tomorrow not enough daylight.

Okay I spoke too soon she is not 100% but I am very optimistic. She ate yesterday both watermelon and her favorite cheese. But she didn't come out of the coop this morning so I think she as a little way to go. She pooped on the floor this morning and those 3-4 pieces off to the right are like rocks.....I separated them from the rest. Below that are the close ups........one piece looks like an apple seed but they don't get apples.

If I had to guess what I was looking at I would say grit.............is that possible?

Several of those pieces look like she has some sort of bowel obstruction. You might want to consider trying a stool softener?

Well I did give her an Epsom Salt bath several days ago and maybe that is what helped the process along. I gave her an eyedropper of olive oil today.

Unfortunately the hen known as the talker didn't make it this time around. Not sure what happened but seems to have been something internal.

I was thinking about having her examined to see what went wrong. I believe is called a necropsy. Can someone point me to a thread or give me a tip. Thanks

Sorry for your loss. :hugs
Do you want to do your own necropsy or send her to a lab? What state do you live in?
