Poopy bottom

What is the best way to clean chicken bottom/rear end. One of my chickens has a messy, poopy rear end
I just filled up a bucket of warm water and put on some plastic gloves and did my best by rinsing her down there. Then gave her a towel dry. It looks a little better but I'm new to all this.

What you did was a good way to clean her. Do you know why she was poopy? And make sure she is nice and dry before she goes outside, you don't want her getting cold while she is wet

I'm not sure why she got poop bottom. I have 6 total chickens and she was only one with the issue.

Just keep an eye on her, make sure she doesn't have diarrhea or anything. My girls will be messy sometimes too. They have fluffy butts that get in the way!
