1 1/2 y/o rir layed a broken egg and she has a messy butt. She was kinda lethargic so we gave her an Epsom salt bath a couple days in a row. She has perked up and has started eating better. My welsummer has a messy butt now and shes not laying either. I have put acv in their water, garlic powder on their food, and have given them yogurt. So I went to check for eggs from my little rir who is still laying and I found this poop in the coop. I was gonna trat them for cocci but the feed store was out of corid. I'm wondering if their ph is off because of them eating these dang cicadas none stop. I hope some one has some advice. No new birds in the house and all a year and half old.

I've heard of recent cicada problems. Can you give your bird a bath to get rid of the poopy butt?
