poopy butt got cleaned, vent area is read & raw, what do now?

The abdomen is below the breast bone... the bum. I had a hen just a few weeks ago die on me. Her abdomen was distended, she became weak and depressed, and she was pale. I posted her and I'm pretty sure she had fatty liver syndrome. There was a 1/2 thick wall of mushy yellow fat in her abdomen that caused the swelling, and her liver was super mushy too. Just some food for thought.

It's possible that she has two problems right now. A respiratory disease and FLS/internal layer... maybe. Hopefully another BYCer will chime in.

Thank you! I've done some more reading up, and it sounds like we will have to seperate her, I did notice one of the hens was pecking at her tush. I should give her general flock feed, as she gets layer now. Maybe soak her butt in water some more. There is nothing coming out, its just very swollen. And, I guess just wait and see....
