poopy butt/vent

One of my leghorns has an extremely poopy butt and she I've noticed a couple times she's been off by herself. I'm terribly lax b'cz I've been ill and in and out of the hospital, but this has been ongoing for at least the past month - i read a few notes where people suggested just washing her off, which I'll do tomorrow,as well as flies can be a problem and since I haven't cleaned coop for maybe 3 weeks my fly traps need changing, which I'll also do tomorrow - and I've shoved a few piles of dirty shavings out and I'm going to get that cleaned completely as well as putting in some diatameceous earth, which I forgot to do when I cleaned it last. Any help/suggestions are much appreciated - thank yu - sheltered in place in Napa - Pat

It may be vent gleet. This means the vent may be inflamed.

It may also be flystrike. You need to clean her up and examine her ASAP.
