Poor Chicks but safe and sound

wow what a day we had today. there is a raging wildfire right outside of town. we had to get every body out and that included our 6 week old chicks. long story short our babies are in a dog kennel in the back of our truck at the moment. we are really hoping that the wind will stop and we can return and our chicks can go back into their pretty new coop. i am praying for everyone and all firefighters across the nation helping with the fires. stay safe everybody.

There are so many fires raging in the west now. I lived in the Ca mountains and my morning and evening routine in the summer was to check for smoke. I hope your home is safe. Hugs and prayers for you and the firefighters.

Thanks rrmamma we are all good as of the am and should be able to go back home this evening. We are some of the lucky ones but others are not so lucky across not just our state but across the entire nation.

Praying for all the people and animals in the paths of these fires. I have a friend on Facebook that has been posting pics of the ones burning nearest her and it really looks scary. It would be great if a tropical storm would quickly work it's way up to Colorado and the other places with fires and put them out!!!

And speaking of tropical storms, prayers going up for all those affected by TS Debby down in Florida.
