i am seeking help in figuring out what is going on with my girls (3) tail feathers. pre-medication (CORID) for
coccidiosis, they had beautiful tail feathers. 5 days into treatment feathers began to appear odd. post
treatment coccidiosis resolved but feathers have not returned to normal ~ no other changes in food, etc.
contacted a vet (2 months out for appt) and the producer of CORID - they give free advice via their in-
house vet who said feather issue unrelated to medication. searched on-line to no avail. best i can find
is it may be an amino-acid or Vit D deficiency caused by the medication. i am open to supplementing
but could also use some advice on best quality brands. i did buy one but the first ingredient was propylene
glycol (which is anti-freeze), so no go there!!! i will try an upload a photo. ty in advance.
