Poor little ducks R.I.P :'(

Last night a fox got my first pair of ducks, Cheese and Crackers.
We were home a little late, the ONLY night we haven't been there to put them away at sundown, and we couldn't find them.
Now this morning there are ducky feathers and blood

my poor little feather butts.



and now I have to wait out the winter before I can get new babies

I recently lost my first rescued duck ( second duck ever ) as well as a few others of my flock

Where are you located?? If you're near me, I have a bunch of duckling available.

I live in Colorado. We have decided its best to wait until spring, because I love raising duckies from little babies but the winter here is pretty nasty, and we want them to be full grown adults before they experience it for the first time.


Thank you all for the condolences, it means a lot. Most people don't really understand why I was so attached to them.
