Last week we took our chickens to a hen boarding house as we were going away for a few days. When we collected them, we noticed that Louisa has one eye closed. It isn't gunky and she can open it, as she does when we pick her up. But she seems to be keeping it closed 90% of the time for some reason.
Has anyone else experienced this? And what should we do? Do we need to take her to the vet?
She is eating and grazing quite happily but not laid since her return (but neither have any of the others) - I though this may just be as they were feeling a bit apprehensive with being moved.
