Poor Nugget!

Let my girls out to play in the crate on the grass for a bit today. Back and forth between kids in the house and yard and I suddenly hear loud peeping! I run out and find my boy, my #130 babysitter dog, with Nugget. He’d picked her up and was nuzzling her way too hard and then tossed her like, “oh, shit, Mom got me!” Guys, I almost snapped her neck to put her out. So glad I didn’t!!! Dropper fed her some probiotics and electrolytes, snuggled her up and now she’s eating and walking again! She’s the mottled Java using an Ameraucana for a snuggle buddy. A little bruised up, but she’s a tiny mighty! Nugget is 3 weeks and smaller than my 2 week salmons!

Yes! I literally just now found her! She must have escaped the pen and I counted wrong when I brought them in. I searched forever for her last night. Found her huddled outside my bedroom window. She survived the night alone!!!! Nugget is recovering well.
