We have a SF that we received as our "Rare Chick" about 9 months ago. He has been an outcast in our flock since day one. Sometimes he would hang out with the meaties and sometimes he would hang out with the rest of our babies. He has never grown tail feathers as they kept getting pecked off. He was never picked on to the point of having a bloody bottom and is no longer being bullied. However, he still has no tail feathers. Has anyone else experienced this? Do you think he will ever have a normal rump?

My Lil' Bit had this problem when she was young. She was the runt and everyone loved to pull out her tailfeathers. She finally grew tailfeathers during her 18 month molt. She's big and bossy now, so nobody tries to pull them out on her anymore.
