Poorly chicken!

We have 3 ex-battery hens, had them nearly a year. One is more nervous and always seemed 'older' than the other two. A few weeks ago she developed a squeaky cluck! It's the best i can explain it! It might not be linked but today she has her tail down and has been very quiet. I've seen her eating a bit but not a lot.

Any ideas what it is or what i should do?

I could try but she doesn't like to be touched! What exactly am i feeling for? She doesn't lay very often.
