Birds that have been moved around a lot and also ones going to a new home, do get stressed very easily. This can cause things like egg binding, lethargy, even respiratory ailments. Stress lowers the immune system, upsets the digestive tract and can have eggs waiting in the uterus. So do your best to cause them the least amount of stress as you can. Make sure they are on a good diet. It would help them greatly to get them on some probiotics. 70% of the immune system lies in the digestive tract. And by adding all those good bacterias that can be lost due to stress will help them greatly. Also, feed them some comfort foods...warm things like chopped up hard boiled eggs, warm oatmeal, warm cooked rice, (this is excellent for calming the GI tract), things like this.
If they are only 9 months old, chances are they are not all that loaded with worms yet. So you might hold off on the worming for a bit. But birds that come from big farms are known to have worms because of the high populations of birds in one area.
Give them all time to adjust. Move slowly around them. Don't crowd them in. Tend to the ones that might have pecking wounds. And if you do suspect egg binding, tend to is a soon as possible. If they push too hard, the uterus can come out, (prolapse) and this is not good.
Good luck with your birds. They will do fine. Just allow them time to settle in and allow them to trust you.
