Poppy Cottage a home for chickens

Well it might seem silly, but we managed to talk my dad into letting us have one of his calving sheds, which we used when I was a kid as a fort/playhouse. We painted a sign on it then and called it Poppy Cottage and I think its fitting that we keep the name. We have to do some remodeling but I think its going to be fabulous! We are going to use solar lighting, which I found is actually pretty inexpensive, anyone use this? Now I just need to get to work on the rest of the design. I am sure I will be back frequently with questions.

I don't think it's silly and I'm betting a lot of others wont either! Good for you and way to go with the resourcefulness.
Of course the questions will be answered, but we also expect regular updates...and don't forget the pictures!
