Hello everyone,:jumpy

I'm trying to find a reasonably. priced portable chicken run that is already assembled. There are a lot of great ideas but I wouldn't be able to build one myself. I'm looking online so I want to try a company that any of my fellow chicken lovers have already had good luck with. I want to keep the girls safe when they're outside. I've had too many close calls. Thank you

What have you had close calls with?
I contain my flock with poultry netting powered with a 10,000 volt charger. It keeps ground predators at bay. They are vulnerable to aerial attack but they have a lot of cover in their space and two rooster to sound the alarm. There was one attempt that I am aware of that was utterly unsuccessful. I heard the flock in full alarm mode and went out to see what all the fuss was and there was a frustrated hawk sitting on the ground between the secure run, the poultry netting and the huge quince bush my chickens hang out under when not actively foraging.

I am following this thread because I am faced with a similar situation. I appreciate DobieLover's response but it wouldn't work for me.

I think the problem is that "reasonably priced", and "well made" and "i bought it all finished and ready to go" are mutually exclusive.

I haven't bought these... but i think it looks sturdy and predator proof..

But I would take out the front coop wall under the roof for more ventilation.

I bought a "chunnel" or "chicken tunnel" a few years back. It was a long mess and metal poles type thing that went up like a tent. I used it for a while to get a few chickens on small spots outside my run I wanted worked over. It seemed fairly secure for daytime use (wouldn't trust it at night) and should help protect from areal predators.
