Portable Nest Box?

I'm building my coop and I put the nest box together. Can I leave it unattached so that I can move it easily to clean the coop?

Or, will they rearrange the furniture on their own?

It looks heavy enough that maybe they won't move it. Or you could run just one screw in somewhere, so that it would be easy to remove.

You could put little pegs where you are going to place it so it can be hooked in place. Also for easy removal.

Thanks, it is about 6 pounds or so. I think I'll try having it float and if they decide to rearrange the furniture then I'll put a screw to hold it in place.
