Portable quail hutch? Opinions please.

You know what my yard looks like...Nutty lives like I do.
We have limited space...not separate yards for each type of animal like some.
Oh, barf. Stinks to be you two.
I always forget just how little your yards are!
My front and side yard alone (the cleared parts) are bigger than your entire property.

Go buy a TARDIS already.
:tongue

What stinkers. As long as it's not a 40* slope it should be fine... my yard isn't exactly flat either.
My problem is the lack of drainage in my "flat" yard. A good looking spot holds water after 3 days of rain. Guess where I started my garden... :hmm

The big dogs will move picnic tables playing. I want to try the tractor. But to do it right, it will be more tank like. Meaning, I'd need a tractor to move it. I may be big, strong and handsome, but my tractors are a pain to move. They are in the garden enclosure away from the puddles and the dogs.

Poop trays are light.
Dog proof tractors are not.
Point taken.

3rd place.
But what a view! ;) I'm usually a little bit slow. Just a little bit though.

I'm still liking the rolling quail hutch. Let's see if anyone else has done this.

@BantyChooks do you leave your quails in one place for a year? I originally wanted a green house with quail on the floor and tables of plants this winter, but then it rained and the yard became lake-like. The CX aren't impressed. They have their hillocks. And drinking water everywhere else.

Plans are delayed. Greenhouse when I have time to haul 5 trucks of mulch for flooring.

I'm not sure, I haven't overwintered them yet. I certainly can't leave them where they are. None of the pens are usable in winter, because they look like this:
View media item 7907952Even if I shovel them out, it's dark and the soil gets frozen and the wind blows, hard. I'll probably move their pen into the coop.
