Porter?

Anyone get turkeys from Porter Turkeys? THey have an AMAZING selection... wondering if anyone has had a good experience with them?

I've known Kevin Porter for years, he and his birds are as good as it gets.....next to ours of course.

He does breed some very colorful birds. the only downside is some of them don't breed true, he has listed on his website what the offspring will come out as.

Takes a little more then hatchery stock to be up in that league. Sure got high hopes and wishes !!

Kevin porter does have some real nice birds. Some don't breed true and the original heritages that he has do grow out to a nice size bird in a normal grow out season.​

Ours aren't hatchery stock and you should do your usual quote thing- I already said some don't breed true... you sound like an echo. Please post some PICS of your flock and where they came from. We would all love to see.

Harp, while you are at it ask Kevin where his White Hollands came from, that would be his 2008 spring Hollands, and the % of blue eyes and brown eyes and which hatchery they came from.... Or should I?

I didn't know or want to know what the heck is going on between you two but we here to learn not fight it out. Harp helped me out when my eggs came scrambled and has give me the nerve to order more eggs. I am not taking sides but boys let get back to the friendly, learning,joking post we come here to see.

Or better yet Sands why don't you make me the same offer as Harp did. His eggs are in bator. I will hatch your and keep detail record of two groups. I am half way in the middle of you two here in Oklahoma so that be fair on shipping.
