Hello!
So my welsh Piggly will have limping spells pretty regularly. She will limp for a couple days, then be fine. Then limp. It’s a vicious cycle that I cannot seem to remedy properly. I keep trying to witness what causes this, but have yet to. Until...
this afternoon she was laying in the grass duck napping, when suddenly she let out three sharp quacks and hurriedly stumbled to her feet. She was sound asleep! Right when she got to her feet the limping was present, and she limped her way to her usual hiding place.
After examining her foot I don’t see a thing.. like always. Could it have been a bite or a sting? And if so, how do I treat? I just found it odd to finally witness the “injury” in the moment.. nothing was happening! And what’s even more bizarre to me is why is it always my welsh that do this.. none of my other ducks have ever had a limping problem.
For what it’s worth, I do treat with super b complex and also polyvisol. I’d sure appreciate any input. Thank you!
