So I was out gardening, with my chickens digging right next to me, when one about two feet from me let out a yelp, and fell to her side. Her legs are fully stretched out (can't walk), she has open beak and is panting, and not too happy being picked up.
Would this be a possible wasp/bee/spider bite (didn't see bee or find a stinger). Her belly feels warm. Also, is there any treatment. Chickens are my "pets", and this one is pals with my frizzle rooster who can't fly, so I will feel sorry for him if she dies. Any insight would be welcome. Thanks in advance.

Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
