Hi, y'all! I'm looking for some help with my 15-20-week-old olive egger.

About 3-5 days ago I noticed her wing drooping and her walking over It constantly. I wrapped the one wing and put her in a separate cage.

Over the past 2-3 days, she hasn't been walking and now both her wings are drooped. Today I wrapped both of her wings, but she is in obvious pain and I feel terrible for her.

Please help!!!

TIA!!

I'm sorry to hear about your pullet.

Can you post photos of her and her poop?

What do you feed, including treats?

If you have vet care, that's always best.

Have you opened each wing to see if there's bruising, broken bones, etc.?

When did she stop walking - when you wrapped just the one wing or both?

Could she have eaten anything moldy, toxic, rotten, oil spill, compost, etc.?

Any idea how she would have suffered injury to one, then both wings?

To me, with her age, she may be struggling with disease like Marek's.

Does she seem to be in more discomfort pain after wrapping the wing(s)? If so, then you may want to check your wrappings to make sure they aren't too tight or even see if she improves once they are loosened or removed.

yes, i will get some later.

organic layer pellets (just recently, around 18-19 weeks)

unfortuntly, i don't. :(

Briefly, but i will check more thoroughly.

When i first wrapped the one wing.

possibly? they are free range, so that is possible.

I thought maybe my roosters (they are big, she is small and i think they have been trying to mount this batch) but since the first wing was messed up, she has been separated.

That's what i was thinking, is that contaigus?

she lays around no matter the wrap, but it seems wrapping does relieve some of her pain.

Those replies just got crazy, but I hope you can find my answers 🤣 (by the way, my answers are in bold)
