Possible broken chick toe

I have a chick that’s about 8 days old and she’s now not putting weight on her leg, I think it’s her middle toe as I saw her limp and it bent underneath her foot. I can move/manipulate it with obvious pain. Not sure if she caught it on something or if momma stepped on her, I have 18 babies so sometimes there’s a lot going on. They are separated from the rest of the flock at this time. Can I splint? If so how long? I’m not certain it’s broken.

Do you have photos of the foot?

If you think it's broken, then I'd try taping it flat or similar.
At 8 days, she's still fairly young, so taping might work, you may have to cut a triangle of thin cardboard for support.
