possible broody hen??

I was sure my Buff Orpington had gone broody a few weeks ago. She thought the dog house was safe to sit but I had to move her out of it. I was hoping to get her fertilized eggs to hatch but I think I might have broken her broodiness. Even though she's acting pretty much normal now she still isn't laying any eggs. Could she still be broody? If not how do I get her laying again?

Sounds like you have broken her. I think she’ll lay lay again soon, just give it time. If she were broody she’d be, we’ll, brooding. Sitting on some eggs. You might have to wait a while till she is broody again, or try using another hen.

She finally laid one yesterday! LOL I was almost as excited as when I got my first ever egg!
