Possible bumblefoot

It looks a little less swollen to me. I would continue with the sugardine every other day. The bottom scab may need to be removed again also. If you pack the hole with the sugardine, that will help it heal from the inside out, so you don't end up with a scab that seals infection in. As I said before, this can be a slow process. That's why I like the duoderm bandages and then wrap, the duoderm keeps the sugardine in well, and helps keep it clean and moist.

Yes, it is a little less swollen on top but I am seeing progress and I agree it is slow. We are going to be at this probably for another month. I think the sugardine is helping and I will continue to use it until it's healed.

!!! Drain blisters that remain over 3 days !!!

It is an infection probably caused by staphylococcus aureus bacteria (Bumblefoot staph infection).

1. Release the infected fluids
2. Apply Neosporin
3. Bandage to keep clean

Chicken’s Foot:
1. Scrub with soapy water
2. Rinse with clean water
3. Sterilize with 90% rubbing alcohol
4. Use a sterile needle or scalpel
(Dip in alcohol and air dry if not sterile)
5. Puncture or cut a hole in the blister
6. Squeeze the puss out
7. Search the cavity for any tissue growths and remove
8. Flush with sterile water or hydrogen peroxide
9. Bandage wrap with neosporin to kill bacteria and stop further infection before it starts
10. Ok to squeeze a little Neosporin inside the cavity and massage around
