i found blood on poop board this a.m.i have ten,six week old chicks.i have started treatment with corid.they have been on medicated food since day one.i have noticed in the last couple of days one of my americana chicks has not been eating very much,and she is all fluffed up as though she is cold.she did eat a little scramble egg yesterday evening.but only if i offered it out of my hand.any imput would be helpful.

Sounds like you caught it. Keep the corrid as their only drinking water for 5 - 7 days. They will start to feel better almost immediately but complete the entire course of medication.

Once medication is finished, you can give them a little yogurt or probiotics to help build back up their heathly intestinal bacteria. You can actually give the probiotics on their feed during the treatment.

If you can provide some warmth, it might help the sickest chicks to feel better sooner.
