Me too. It was really hard on us because me and my bf both felt a really strong bond with her more then the others. We decided to get her cremated, so we still have her

Thank you I didn’t know if it was silly to others getting her cremated because some might be like “it’s a type of poultry” but it felt like the right choice for us and she was our pet

Some say it is silly. Because some raise meat and layer birds. I raise pet and showbirds. Though I dont get my birds cremated, we do bury them.

No show birds for us, maybe one day. We will probably bury all the others but my bf says and i quote “i don’t want to wake up one morning to chicken bones in the backyard”
